Project: Mr.BrainWash Art Museum Brochure

Role: Visual Designer

Tools: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

Objective: Design a brochure for the Mr.BrainWash Art Museum in Beverly Hills, CA that follows a similar visual identity as the interior of the museum.

The Challenge: Translating the immersive and maximalist experience of the Mr. Brainwash Art Museum into a 2D format. The brochure must feel like a piece of the museum itself, ensuring it stands out while remaining functional for visitors.

The Identity: Aesthetics: High-contrast juxtapositions, and vibrant primary colors. Typography: A mix of bold, weathered sans-serifs and hand-drawn, "dripping" lettering. Atmosphere: Enthusiastic, rebelious and celebratory. It should capture the "more is more" philosophy seen in the Beverly Hills interior.

The Strategy  Visual Layering: Utilizing digital techniques to mimic physical layers and spray paint. Focus: Highlighting key installations like the giant Snoopy sculpture to provide a roadmap for the visitor's journey.

The Application: Front Cover: A high-impact visual statement that functions as a collectible poster. Interior Layout: A dynamic grid that breaks traditional rules to guide the eye through the museum’s current exhibits.

The Outcome: The final result is a souvenir-quality brochure that extends the museum experience beyond its walls. It serves as a functional guide that visitors actually want to keep, reinforcing the brand’s message that art is accessible, loud, and for everyone.
